Update of sorts

Talked to the doctors office and found out that my liver function was even higher the second time around and now I have to go back and do more blood work and then we will go from there. This seems to be a long drawn out process. Oh well at least I am starting to keep things down so I guess that is good. Started back on the treadmill today and did 20 mintues @ speed of 2.3 and walking 1 min jog for 1 min burned 104 calories  for a distance of 072. Not bad for  not really  doing it  for a week or so. I am working nights so my mornings will be the treadmill and resting and doing whatever I want to do. Enjoy your week and remember to work out as much as possible. Drink, Drink.

Sorry to here about your tests. Sounds like something isnt right some where hope they find the problem soon for you! t kinds of food are you eating in your diet? Do you think its something there? What makes the liver count high Im not sure ? Or does it come from the diabetes? Thats great about the treadmill wish I had one maybe Id think I was doing something this bike I feel like Im just not going anywhere but I guess it counts as something huh. Hope you have a great day hang in there and keep us posted on  the health issue. Prayers going up for you too. By the way hows your dad? Take care...

Melinda, Our rec center has a neat program for treadmill walkers and stationary bikers. It's kinda like the womans challenge that you tour places virtually. To start where in the US would you like to visit? Let's say Seattle WA. Go on mapquest and get the total number of miles from your home to Seattle. Where do you want to stop along the way? Chicago? Colorado? You would note your miles each day and find out about your new "location" It's fun easy and free!!!

I was looking at webmd and it said that it could be liver disease and I will find out more from the doctor and I am going to go up @1 to do the test because I do not want to wait I want to know more real soon. I am very concerned about this and it is really bothering me not knowing. Dad is doing pretty good he has his days and they are giving him pain meds 2 times a day now. As far as the treadmill you can check at the different stores and get the prices I got mine at kmart for about 249.99 and I put it on my sears card. I am trying to get back to a normal life and try not to worry so much and I feel pretty good since doing it. Have a nice day. Thank you for your prayers they are appreciated.

My darling sister in wl...it goes without saying that you are in my prayers about this liver stuff.  I'm really proud of you for staying on top of this & taking an active role in your health care.  You might be surprised to know how many people place blind faith in their health care providers, wait around for answers, put up with appts being put off for months, etc.  That to me is just unacceptable.  People tend to forget that these "experts" work for US, not the other way around.  So you keep on pushing to get this liver stuff taken care of.  We still have lots to do with you yet & we need you healthy to do them.  As for the exercise...YOU GO GIRL!!!!  Between the treadmill & all the walking around you do at work, getting enough exercise shouldn't be an issue for you.  Please keep us posted...we really do care.

Hugs!
Ann

Thank you and you are right I need to stand behind myself and push for my own health. I am worried about the liver but that will work itself out. I am proud of myself for starting back on the exercise and will keep that up it has to help. Just told Rich about what the doc said and I think he is worried about it too. I will keep you guys posted as I know what is going on.

Thank you and I know that things will work out for the best. I was supprised to see that I could jog for 1 min at a time and walk for 1min I have not tried that before. I will keep it up and maybe I will lose even more weight althrough 4.4 lbs is not bad in 2 weeks.
