Hello everyone. I want to thank everyone that has helped me with questions and support. I go in tomorrow morning to St. Marys for my RNY with Dr. Hutcher. I have to be there at 530am. At least I get it over with first thing in the morning. I am worried about everything. LOL. I worry about my son (he is 7). My mother in law will be staying here with him, but he seems confused. I just cant wait to get the surgery over with and move on in life. I just want to be healthy to spend time with the family. The day is almost here. Thanks everybody for everything. I will post when I get home. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone. I will see you on the other side!

Hi there! Good luck for tomorrow!! We were all like this trhe day before surgery but hang in there - you are almost on the way to a new you!  Tomorrow you will probably wake up with a new calm - decide to put yourself in the hands of your surgeon and just go with it. I was so calm the day of surgery that it was not even funny - my husband and my mother in law were terrified for me but I was so calm I drove to the hospital.... and I spent my time calming them down lol..... I am sure you are going to do just fine! And we are all here to support you! We have saved a space for you on the loser's bench! Jackie

Good pm, My thoughts & prayers will be with you for your surgery tomorrow. Keep your faith strong and think positively. Your son is most likely curious and worried about his mom. Kids are really observant and so he's worried too. Glad your mom will be there to help out. Keep us posted! All best!

Best of luck tomorrow. Worrying is normal and perfectly fine. I'll sure you'll come out of it well. I also have a 7 year-old and I can tell you from personal experience that the improvement in your ability to parent your son will make every moment of recovery worth it!
