Today's Challenege -Schedule Exercise In Your Calendar

It's been a while since we have had a challenge from www.kashi.com , and I love today's challenge.   We always say that we do not have time to exercise, but how do we really know if we had the time or not.  I found that in order to get my fitness in, I had to make it a priority, write it on the calendar and treat it like an appointment that could not be missed (I do this for the entire month).  Then each day, I look at my calendar to see what my appointments are for the day and proceed fromt here. Do I always make it to my appointment?  Not always.  Some days I have to miss it.  But, the idea of doing this is to put your fitness to the forfront of your day. Plus, becuase I decide what the activity will be in advance, it takes the guess work out of trying to figure out what I am going to do that day, and I can make sure that I am not working too many muscles groups back to back, that I have allowed adequate recovery time in between my workout.  Plus it removes boredom of doing the same thing each day and allows me to see what I have already done (great motivation).

So, within the next 24 hours, block out some time for your favorite exercise routine one day during the next week. Make a commitment to keep your appointment.  Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine.

Its starts with US and we need to make the commitment to ourselves. I struggle in this area at times just like most folks. I'm focusing more on a calendar plotting things in time spaces so that I DO stick to them and give myself more time to take care of me. Thanks for posting this.
