THANK GOODNESS ITS FRIDAY YA'LL!!

Good am, How are ya'll doing? How was your Thursday? Mine was quite emotional and trying but I got through it somehow. I had some words with Kayla's doc as we were promised word on results Tuesday. That didn't happen, nor did it happen Wed or Thurs. She's said it would be today. We'll see. Patience is something I've truly earned my stripes in SO MUCH lately. Otherwise, yesterday will stay yesterday as I truly am blessed not to have to relive it. What's on the books for your Friday/weekend? Today is a new day with new chances and choices and I'm working on smiling, breathing, being patient, enjoying nature with a great walk today (it will be about 86 degrees here today), getting some errands done, hearing from K's doc, spending time with the buggas and going out this pm to see friends play live music and having a nice time. For the weekend its supposed to be VERY warm, some scattered showers and we're going to get out and about and enjoy the sun, pool and relaxing. I sincerely hope ya'll have a wonderful Friday and weekend. I'm asking for some prayers please. I'm fighting the Loomie Gloomie Fairy and she sux to put things bluntly. In addition, I am fighting this cold/allergies and its been for the better part of the week. Added to this, is the patience I somehow still have with regards to K's test results. Thanks in advance. Thanks to EVERYONE here who shares their journeys with me (and all of us). Its what keeps me going a lot of days. I get to come here and read and learn and its truly a blessing. Hugs and love and all that jazz.....

Oh, Kat - I am so praying for you. When you're not feeling 100%, it's so much easier for all of those other things to weigh you down. But I love your attitude - "I'm blessed not to have to relive it" I'm just picturing that movie Groundhog Day and having the same horrible day over and over and over and over.....*shudder*

Enjoy your day! 86 is too warm for me, but since it means summer's coming and school's almost out, I'll take it. My goal today is to try a new, healthy recipe. I never cook, and I need to start. So today's is from my Nutripoints book and it's called "healthy fried chicken". We'll see how it goes.

Picture me waving my magic wand and banishing the Loomie Gloomie fairy here.......

Good am pretty lady! Yeah you are right seems like things weigh me down more when I'm battling the Sick Fairy. LOL! Funny you should mention that movie cause I SWEAR I was thinking that very thing last pm. I have to say I woke up several times during the night praying for things and people. I needed to purge so to speak. I have an underlying issue that is getting addressed as well so I'm almost positive it has a LOT to do with what I'm dealing with. I'm outside NOW in the gazebo and its really gorgeous out here. The sun is just about to shine through the clouds as I'm typing this. Ok seriously I can picture you waving that wand with that BEAUTIFUL smile you have. THANK YOU! PS got your email & am gonna reply to you in a few!

KK-  i hear you on the whole patience thing. I pray you hear from Kayla's doc today.  As for me, my mother was taken to the hospital tuesday 3am (she's in asst. living - dementia, age 86).  She had a high fever, she has a UTI with sepsis and now they are finding a heart problem, still testing. She's never awake when i'm there and is in restraints (she pulls out her iv/oxygen w/o them).  she's fast running out of money, so i'm going to fill out papers today for medicare/medicaid to take over and i'm prepaying funeral expenses today...so much going on.  my daughter has swim team 4:30-5:30 tonight (looking forward to the mindless hour).  Love to all, thanks for listening.  lys

Good pretty lady! I am with you on all you are facing. We are dealing with the same with my mom's dad. Hopefully things will go smoothly. We've been able to get all the paperwork done for the most part and paid for the funeral expenses. Hopefully this will alleviate any hurdles and allow us to move on with letting him pass in comfort and us to be able to grieve when the time comes and not stress over paperwork and such. My prayers are with you as well. Please keep us posted.

Lys, Keeping you and your family in my prayers. I hope the docs can clear up the septicimia. Your daughters swim meet sounds nifty. Make sure to take some time--even 15 minutes will help--for yourself. I'm here if you need me.My email is [email protected].

Well I am glad that you are out in the Gazebo and enjoying the sun, sometimes doing that can brighten up your day a little bit. I do hope you hear the results today, patience is not one of my virtues and I am sure its being tested especially when it deals with one of your kiddies. Hang in there and hope you are free of the funk soon!

Good am pretty lady! Wow I LOVE your new avatar! Yes, I NEED my nature time. I spend every minute out here I can. It ALWAYS helps make me feel better. Patience is something I'm really growing it in my garden though. Trust me I will break it down for the doc. She's a great one but I don't take things lightly. I'll be better soon I have faith! Hugs......
