Unjury Protein
I just wanted to post about the Unjury Protein. I love it. It disolves all the way so there is no grittiness. I tried the Strawberry sorbet today. Yummy. I am placing another order to have more on hand. The price is average for powdered protein. Just 5 days to go before my surgery day! I am soooo nervous. I met a friend who will be doing it with me that day. Such a nice nice lady! Looks like it is all going great! You all have a wonderful wonderful Thursday!
I like Unjury too - it was my first protein and it is not as bad as some of the others lol!! I mostly use it for my protein balls- they are like candy to me!
You will meet some great people along the way here - friends for life. You may want to consider coming to the Meet and Greet BBQ/Health Seminar on the 28th June as you will meet people there at all stages and make some more good friendships and people you can lean on.
We have all been where you are - it is a very exciting time for you and the next few months will be of changes that you have only ever been able to imagine!
I am excited for you - good luck with surgery!

OH Thank you Jackie! I have butterflies I am so excited. And so happy i found a palatable protein right off the bat. How do you make protein balls? Is there a recipe I can find somewhere? Valerie will be having surgery the same day as me, so we will keep each other in stitches (sorry for the pun) during recovery. Feels like I am waiting for santa to come, hee hee. Hugs, Lisa

Lisa,
I can imagine your excitement - we all went through it!
There are many recipes for protein balls - but the one I use we have put on my website- www.obesityfreedom.com...... You may need to check with your doctor at what stage you can have peanut butter before trying them though....
Jill (sportyjill) also has a whole page of different kinds of protein balls...... they are very popular as you can make them in a few mins and no cooking!
Good luck to you AND Valerie - it is always fun to have a friend there. I had a friend go through the same time as me and she was in another room but we visited each other all the time!
Jackie
The Unjury protein really is very good, isn't it? I have been using it for some time now, and keep a "stash" on hand for the drinks and to make the protein balls with. As Courtney said, just remember that your tastes might change some after the surgery...hopefully your taste for Unjury won't be one of them! AND congrats on the upcoming surgery...please let us know how it goes and how you're doing. :)
