hi all. I am here at IFOH recovering from surgery. I came through the ER on thursday with pain and nausea...again. After CT scans and meds and all of that good stuff...they could find nothing wrong...again. So, they were going to send me home. I said no. Dr. Moazzez offered me an explaratory surgery yesterday to see if we could find a problem...I said YES! Lo and behold...hiding in my little tummy was a big perforated ulcer...yay! I say yay because I got it FIXED...FIXED FIXE!!!!!!!!!!! So, I am in rm. 506 at IFOH and recovering well. thank you all again for ALL of your wonderful support...I feel great!

Good for you for standing your ground and not giving up.... I hope this is your light at the end of the tunnel....Glad your on the mend and feeling great!!!  Weird question, You aren't by chance a nurse or work in an OBGYN office do you?  I had my annual the other day (probably TMI) and we were discussing that I had RNY ... the doc mentioned that she had a nurse in her other office that had by pass and is having issues with ulcers, I couldn't help but think of you and wonder... :)  Amanda
