Memorial Day Weekend

I know it's only Thursday but I'm SO psyched about the 3-day weekend coming up that I thought I'd ask everyone now...what are your plans?  I know the boards may be a little scarce and wanted to make sure to wish everyone a happy one. My sister-in-law and her family are traveling down to VA for the weekend.  I'm so excited to see them, we talk everyday but haven't seen them in almost a year.  Which reminds me, I need to get my batteries charged up for the camera!  :)  We are planning a dinner Saturday night with their mothers side of the family.  Sunday we are planning a picnic with their dad's side of the family at pocahontas state park where they will have the camper at.  Monday, I think they are planning on going to Williamsburg, which I've already been this year, but hopefully I will see them one more time before they leave on Tuesday.  :)

YAY! What a fun weekend you have coming up!

I'm heading down to South Carolina (Charleston) to see my favorite kid in all the land - my super sweet niece Abby! (I suppose my parents, sister and brother-in-law, and my brother will be there, too. Whatever) I'm sure we'll spend some time at the beach, which will be fun. And I know one night we have to go have dinner with my sister's in-laws which is not super-exciting, but hey. Abby will be there. And anywhere she is, I am happy to be!

Hey there hun! Sounds like you are going to have a great weekend. We have nothing awesome planned. May cook out on the grill although I am not keen on that idea since I still am not supposed to eat meat. Blah! But since it is supposed to be nice this weekend, maybe me & Cam will venture off to the park. Have a great time this weekend, and please stay safe. Big huggies!!!

Sounds likeyou have a great weekend planned.  No plans here so basically I will see what the weekend brings.  My b-i-l will be in town this weekend (should be here within the next hour) so I am sure we will spend some time with him over the weekend but not really sure what exactly.  Everyone have a safe & happy weekend.

Hey, Lauren:  Sounds like you have a great weekend ahead of you!  So glad the weather is supposed to cooperate...enjoy!!!  We are going to be spending the weekend getting things done before the summer gets away from us -- repainting the exterior of the foundation, power-washing the deck, re-staining porch rockers, re-staining the fence...oh, the list goes on and on, and boy, is my life exciting or what???  :)  Have a great weekend, and stay safe on the roads! 

Hi Lauren Sounds like you have great weekend plan, have lots of fun. My hubby and I are heading down to Kingston, N. C. for a family reunion. I haven't  been on his motorcycle since last year and now that I am 59 lbs. lighter I think I will enjoy it. We are leaving Friday afternoon ,so say a pray for us. Have a GREAT WEEKEND!  Betty

Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned - we have a working weekend as we put in the electric dog fence using a digger this time all the way around the yard........  then they open the pool in our area so there is a pool party but I think the water will be too cold so we may skip that.... We will be grilling all weekend probably - just much easier than dirtying all the other dishes lololol Nothing exciting planned for me I don't think! Jackie
