Good am, How are ya'll doing? GREAT I hope! What a BEAUTIFUL am we've got going on here. The birds are chirpin' away, the sun is rising higher & higher and Kayla & I are up and moving around. How was your Wednesday? Ours was jam packed and really movin'. Seemed like everything fell into place for most of the day then there were a few moments when I could have really been unfriendly. I figured I should take the high road. Trust me I was still THINKING about what I wanted to say but didn't. Got a lot done and then Mom & I headed for Jackie & Sue's support group meeting in Fredricksburg. It was a nice drive up and we got there with a little bit of time to spare. The meeting was great! The drive home was HYSTERICAL to say the least. Its what happens when you get 2 people in a car who are SO tired but SO wired with humor! What's on the books for your Thursday? I'm getting out and about for some "me" time this pm. Kayla will be off to school in about 20 mins or so, Nora is still snoozing and I'm going to get chores down then around noon time I'm thinking its time for movies & lunch among other things. WAHOO! I'm excited! I pray things go smoothly today as well. In all that you do today, please be mindful of your blessings and remember to smile as brightly and strongly as you can. You never know who's day you are making. Keep in mind that what ever yucky stuff blows your way that its not gonna last forever. Reach out to those who are here/there for you and let us help. All best!

Good morning beautiful.  Wed. was great and Thurs looks even better.  I just Kara off to school and am almost ready to wake Steve up.  Then I am out the door for my cuppa and off to training for the day.  Then it's home at 5.  Kara wants to bake a cake, so we will do that and I'll cook dinner.  Steve is having steroid injenctions in his back this afternoon.  He has a herniated disk and his nerve is exposed.  He will eventually have to have surgery but now is NOT the time for that for us.  This PM calls for some relaxing time.  I think we'll all watch a movie after dinner.  Then I need to read some in my book.  We'll see if time is permitted for that! {{huggs}} Tammy P. S. Did ya get my e mail??

Good am Tammy, Sounds like you've got a busy day ahead as well. I honestly do love jam packed days! I feel so accomplished and enjoy it. But, this pm I'm hoping to get in some "me" time as well. Prayers for Steve with his back. My sis has been dealing with something similar and has already done injections and surgery is coming as well. Boo hoo! Hope you get your reading time in and enjoy baking the cake! Hugs..............

Morning Beautiful!!!!  Congrats on your successful speaking last night.  I knew you would be a hit.  My Wednesday was okay.  Another down day for me put I took some time out for me.  Made some more phone calls seeking some help and managed to not have a break down so I am pretty proud of myself.  Had a school function for one of the girls last night but other than that it was a relaxing nite.  Another family nite on the books for today so we shall see what transpires.  Have a great one!!!!  Love you much!!!!

Hey there!

Yesterday went well (no more meltdowns - yay Thanks to everyone for making me feel so normal!) Although I did get a lot done, I took a nap in the afternoon which means I did not get enough done so I'm behind today. Oh, well.

I had a meeting yesterday about testing guidelines for our end of the year standardized testing. Yes, that's right - for my KINDERGARTENERS. People are loco in la cabeza if they think that's a good idea!

So today somehow I have to find time to teach (I'm sorry - not teach. I don't do that anymore. Review for these tests), get to the gym, get the tire with the nail in it fixed on my car, go to my school's retirement dinner, and pack for my trip to Charleston tomorrow. We'll see how many of those things actually get done! But it's all good because, let's be honest, I can't add more hours to my day no matter how hard I try. So what gets done gets done. And what doesn't will get done tomorrow. Or some other day. Or never. Whatever.

Oh wow - here come the little darlings now! Have a great one everyone!

Good am Sarah, LOL you seriously crack me UP bout the teaching and kiddos. Honestly, I am VERY involved in Kayla's school and its RIDICULOUS that she's brining home a flippin' notebook FULL of "review work for SOL's". I am like what in the world. Its NO LESS than 6-8 pages PER night of homework. I mean really. Ok, enough of that. Something I noticed in your post that is IMPORTANT! We cannot add hours to the day so whatever gets done DOES and what doesn't will still be there tomorrow! GOOD FOR YOU! Its hard for many to see that in their days! Hugs to you!

Good Morning, Sunshine....

Let me start by saying that I am SO proud of you for speaking at Jackie and Sue's support group meeting.  It takes a lot of guts to get up there and throw your dirty laundry out there for everyone to see.  It is refreshing to hear you speak so open and honest about your situation.  I know that many will benefit from it.  I commend you for being brave! I hope that today is an interesting day....don't need another boring day, that's for sure - haha!  I'm off tomorrow, so I'm really looking forward to that!  Nice long weekend, full of great weather - can't wait!!!! Enjoy your day!!

Good mornin Doll! I am soooo sorry that I missed your speaking. Had I had known before that you were going to do that, I would have definitely made arrangements to come. The picnic that Hanover gave it's volunteers was a bust. There was nothing for the kids to do, even though they were supposed to have games and such, and the only foods were hamburgers, hotdogs, toppings and chips, and pasta salad. All of which I am not able to eat yet. So we drove all the way up to Kings Dominion for that. Then..... Cameron was playing in the grass area outside the pavillion and wandered off. We looked for 40 minutes, and come to find out, they had left the gates open to the park. A handful of park employees were looking for him and as I was getting ready to dial 911 they found him. All I could do was cry. I totally agree with you on the SOL study stuff. Cameron has had the practice tests all week so we have been studying. I just don't understand it. Today, I am cleaning out the rest of my house. Maybe even part of the shed.... Of course, I am heading out for my walk when Cam gets home but other than that... Taking it easy. Big hugs to you doll!
