Hello everyone,

I am on Day 3 here in Boston and things are going very well. I had a really nice visit with my Mom on Sunday and settled into the hotel for the week that night. I love this hotel – it’s the perfect amount of space for me and I get to pretend that I live by myself… with daily housekeeping service. What could be better - just the fact that I get to wear all of the “dressier” clothes that I don’t wear when working from my home office every day. Life is good, indeed.

Now here’s a little shameless bragging from last night. Although I got back to the hotel later than I planned, I was determined to exercise. I was so proud of myself – I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and even managed to jog for a little bit (strange, but true) when I got to 4.0 mph. And – get this – I did 10 minutes on the elliptical. For those of you keeping track, that’s double my 5 minutes from earlier in the week at home.  Now that is certainly still a beginner’s pace, but I was so pleased that I topped it off with 10 minutes of weight lifting. How about that?? I rewarded myself with a nice dip into the whirlpool afterward.

Today I’m having lunch with a guy that I used to work with at my old job. I have not seen him in a very long time, so I made sure to wear a dress that would make my hard work shine! I hope everyone is having a good week and I will check in again when I can.

Mary, You are awesome!  I hate the elipitical, but I am thinking about "trying" it again.  The first time I did about 4-5 min (I think) and thought I was going to die!  Hopefully this time I can do better...or at least not feel like dying.  Enjoy Boston and take some pics of those fab outfits. Tam

Our girl, Mary, taking Yankee-land by storm!  You go, sweetie!!!!  Too bad you're having lunch with your friend instead of dinner...you could really strut yer stuff in some sexy, slinky little number & really knock his sox off!  And you really do need to take fotos of your outfits...I loved the one you wore to the OH May event...hubba-hubba!!  Just have a terrific time & keep up the good work with the exercise.

Hugs!
Ann

You are so awesome - out-of-state and still tackling that nasty elliptical machine! I can't wait to hear a report on how in awe everyone was of your great outfit. I agree - we want pictures!
