very painful knees

 My poor right knee is very painful and very sore. In January Hylagen shots were put in my right knee to hopefully ease the pain. The shots worked for awhile. Well I was pretty sedentary while healing from recent surgery. The arthritis has become active, again... Tomorrow I am picking up films that were taken last year and delivering them to my Orthopedic surgeon. I am hoping that he is not going to say surgery...that there may be something else before that. Please keep this in your prayers tonight. Thanks, Cindy

I will put you on my prayer list and pray that this arthritis settles down. I pray that you don't have to have any surgery on your  knee. God says,  pray one for another that we may be healed. We have alot of pray warriors on the board so keep us posted .      Betty

Unfortunately, arthritis is one thing that is not healed by weight loss.  I know where you are, GF.  I have arthritis in both knees, and have undergone shots.  The shots do help. I was upset though, and said something to the doc about it getting WORSE since losing weight.  He said without the WL I would be in a wheelchair now, and that it is worse because I am more active! Can't seem to win for losing sometimes ...

Hi Ample Beauty,   Thank you for your note. My knees did get better after wlosing weight. Last Spring I fell which agrivated the arthritis in the knees. Since then, I have hadcortisone shots and Physical Therapy. The Hylagen shots happened In January for right and March for left.  Have u had surgery? Cindy
