update on me!
You know what? I'm very proud of you for taking such an active, positive role in your health care. Too many put blind faith into the medical professionals but we owe it to ourselves to be our own champions. I think you've handled this whole situation really well & I'm glad you didn't just "settle". Good for you. I hope you feel better soon, honey.
Hi Ann. Thanks for writing and thank you very much for the praise and kind words. Having had MRSA before, I know what to look for and what to expect. I just didn't think about getting it in one of my incisions. I am constantly questioning all my dr's, about diagnosis, meds, pretty much anything they tell me and I am a freak about googling to find information too. It means alot that you think I've done good. Makes me feel like I am doing the right thing. Thanks so much again. Hugs
You're very welcome, sweetheart. I guess I just feel like most people don't get the praise they deserve so when an opportunity presents itself, I jump on it. LOL I'm especially passionate when it comes to dealing with the medical profession. On the one hand, they are angels in disguise, but I'm also realistic enough to remember that they are fallible & need to be reminded that they are treating PEOPLE not just a disease or injury. I guess they are so over-worked that they forget that...believe me, I remind them. So you keep asking questions & expecting prompt answers. In the meantime, hurry up & get well...you have a bbq to go to soon!
Good am Theresa,
I sincerely hope that you get to feeling better. Hopefully you pass right over this hurdle quickly and be back to bouncing around! Prayers going up for you this am as well.
Take care..........

Theresa, sounds like you are on top of it all and got it under control. I hope that you get the right meds & they kick in quickly. Another option if you can't handle the crushed meds (taste can be nasty & the applesauce etc. might not help much to block the taste) you could get a pill splitter & cut them into smaller pieces in order to be able to take them.
