Who made it to our first destination of Goldfield NV?  How did you do on your activity? It is so important to log at least 5 of 7 days. Here is the bonus challenge. It can be found on the WC web site under the tab MY WOMANS CHALLENGE. Have fun...and keep moving, get in your water, protein and your vitamins!!!

Your Challenge:

Complete any or all of the following activities, check off the box, and click 'submit'. You have until the last day of the challenge (Saturday, July 5th) to complete this bonus challenge.

1.) Try a new type of exercise this week. It can be anything that gets you moving and breathing—be creative!

What did you try?

2.) Taste a fruit or vegetable that you've never tried before!

What did you taste?

3.) Learn something new about your health by visiting www.womenshealth.gov or www.girlshealth.gov, talking to your healthcare provider, or visiting your local library.

What did you learn?

4.) Keep a journal of everything you eat for 3 days this week—this will help you learn more about your eating habits and highlight areas to work on.
I certify that I have completed at least one of the bonus challenge activities described above.

The reason why the team did not make the 1st goal is because not everyone logged in and put in their activity.  Therefore, as a team....we did not move.

Also, after you log in, and you see "Enter My Daily Activity", scroll down and you will see the Week 2 challenge.  It's an easy challenge, and if everyone does it, will get us back on track. Since I'm doing the Gulf and Carribean route, , I hit Freeport, TX......it's warm here.....

Will doing more than 1 of those challenges help us out? Since they all are easy, doing more than 1 shouldn't be a problem and if it helps the team, I think it would be worth. Thanks & hugs

doing more than one doesn't change the team but feel free to try them as part of your wls journey. Thanks bunches PS sorry to hear about the MRSA. Did you find out about crushing the pills or cutting them? I'm with Jackie T on this one.

Hey Jen. Thanks for writing back. I am definitely going to try as many as I can. It finally feels so good to move. I went to see the nurse practioner and she wants me to wait until tomorrow, when the culture comes back, to find out what strain the infection is. That way, if it is a type that is resistant to Bacterim, then I wouldn't have been trying to choke them down for nothing. But thanks so much for your concern.

Hey Mary, I love this too and am so glad you joined. You are totally rocking this week being in Boston. Sounds like a great time to concentrate on your physical and mental well being. I am on Lamictal for 4 weeks now and have seen such a difference. Will you be at Jackie's in June? Hope to meet you. Jen
