What Are YOU doing TO Move Today???

Good Morning Everyone..... Hope everyone is good this morning.  Looks like it's going to be a hit or miss kind of a day here at the beach, but the temps will be up there. So...what are YOU doing to move today??? Me?  Well, thanks to the great Virginia traffic, I missed my fitness classes last night.  So, I ended up walking 4 miles with my dog.  Today's calendar shows a pole class, but I have my first Harley HOG meeting tonight, so I'll do 45 minutes on the ellipticle, instead.  That way I have time to change and head out for the meeting. If you are participating in the Women's challenge, make sure you log your time in - if you are going to do the work, get credit for it! Until tomorrow......Stay safe...stay hydrated....stay moving!

Good morning Lovie!  I am developing a love/hate relationship with all this rain.  On the one hand it's good cuz it means hay fields will be abundant & I won't have to pay a ton of $$ for hay for my horse & the grass in his pasture is nice & lush.  On the other hand, it's interfering with plans.  It's looking like we won't be going to New Market after all & no getting out into the sunshine.  So alternmate plans will be riding my bike.  Of course there's the hula...I need to practice & decide on how I'm gonna teach ya'll.  So all is not lost on the moving in spite of the rain. Just so you know...I love this thread.

I hear ya on the love/hate relationship.  I love it cause it washes the pollen out of the air, but hate it cause I can't ride my bike (boo!)........

Have fun riding your bike.  I must say that I'm really proud of you...you have done wondeful this week!  Keep it up!!   And, I'm glad that you like my daily torture - haha

This AM I took the new dog, Casey, on a 2 mile walk. He is just a year old so he needs a lot of exercise. Then I came home and did crunches and resistance bands. The Virginia allergy season is officially hitting me. My head and throat hurt and I just want to whine!  OK--done now. Have fun on the bike. I saw a sign at Jakes BBQ the other day: EAT A PIG, RIDE A HOG To all my "Virginia Beauties" doing the womans challenge---LOG YOUR ACTIVITY!!!

Yep, just like pollen (my issue), lack of sleep, lack of adequate nutrition, time of the month, over training and vairous other things. I take it that you are tired and sluggish.  How much water are you getting in??

Well I get  90+ grams of protein in a day, so that's not it. I've become more diligent about sleep so I get 7-9 hours of sleep a night.. but last night.. I was out by 830 and didn't want to get up this a.m. I missed my evening vitamins... its amazing how every hour counts for water, protein and vitamins etc.. in taking care of yourself since post op. Water... ummm... probably 32-40 oz?  Which is WAY too low...   My carbs were a little high yesterday too, so maybe that's it.

I an always tell when I didn't get enough water the day before.  I wake up dehydrated - headache, little pee, thirsty. Try increasing your water today to level back out. And you're right - an hour makes a HUGH difference in my schedule, too.  If I sleep beyon 700am, I am toast for the day, because it throws off my protein shake, my breakfast, everything....
