Beware your water bottle...
I saw a piece on the news last night that I felt was important to share. According to the news piece, drinking from sports bottles (the ones with the little pop-up stoppers) will cause the same kind of wrinkling around your mouth as smoking 3 packs of cigarettes per day. It happens because you must pucker up your lips to suck the water out of the bottle in the same way that a smoker draws a puff on their cigarette. It's recommended to switch to wide-mouthed drinking bottles which allows your upper lip to remain relaxed. With that said, I got to thinking about it & it would make sense that straw users could experience the same thing. So just some food for thought.

You guys completely crack me up. Wide-mouth bottles pose an equally serious danger to me - my drinks all down the front of my shirt. Every day. *sigh* I guess you can't win, can you? But I just got my new water bottle in the mail yesterday - it's one of those SIGG bottles. It has a sport-like top, but you push down to get the water out, not suck. So maybe I'm safe.
