I went and weighed in, and I'm officially down over 60 pounds!  I'm so excited!  I just had to share.

That is awesome! Way to go! BTW - my son plays bassoon! His recital is June 7th; he wants to play professionally after high school.

I wish I had stuck with the bassoon after I came home from college.  I miss playing and being a part of making music a lot.  I hope he sticks with it!

Oh wow!  That's fantastic.  And how nice to see a fellow bander.  We need to talk, sweetie.  I mean I REALLY need to talk.  I had my band done last July & I've lost half what you have.  I've been very upset & on-again off-again battles with depression because of it.  I need to know what you're doing that I'm apparently NOT doing.  I have an appt. scheduled to see my nut. in a couple more weeks, but up til now, I've been the lone bander in a sea (although beautiful & I love them all) of bypassers.  In the meantime, you have to be so proud of yourself.  At least I know that this tool works, just not so well on me yet.

Hugs!
Ann

Do you come to the support group meetings?  I went to my first one last month, and while there are many fewer banders than bypassers, there are some. I've been going to Weigh****chers every week and staying for the meetings.  I need the accountability of having to weigh in every week and having the same group of people around every week definitely helps. I also have a personal trainer who pushes me and so I'm building up muscle at the same time. Apparently I'm one of the rarer success stories?  I don't know.  I'm just trying to use all the tools I have available to me.  I feel like my weight has slowed down a lot, but I'm not going to give up.
