For those of you with Contact lenses?
I have the same problem and I went back to my glasses because my contacts gave me an eye infection. What a pain it is to keep taking the reading glasses off and putting them on, trying to read the computer, and yes, the old lady thing with them on the string. So my giftie to me after I loose my weight is Lasik. You said you sleep in your contacts. Are they the kind you are supposed to leave in like that? I had to take mine out everynight then I was blind without glasses.
Well it has only been a few days and I love them. I don't even know I have them in - so far so good. My ones are the 30 day ones that you sleep in too. I love it that I can see the clock on the cable box without any trouble if I wake up. Of course it is easier for me to keep them in as I can't get the buggers out!! Took me 25 mins my first attempt but I know I will get better.... but of course as don't take them out at all I won't get that much practice!
And if I get an infection the worst that can happen is I have to wear reading glasses for a few days....
My optician advises against the surgery for near vision corrction as he says it is really not that good and often can't be repeated. He says maybe in a few years they will have something better...

Here's a good way to get them out. First, you need to make sure they aren't dry. So put some sterile saline in a small squirt bottle, squirt a bit into your eyes and then wait a few seconds, then open your eyelids a bit and take clean fingers, move the little guy around some then move it to a corner. Hopefully it will "pucker" and then you can gently lift it out. If you have long fingernails, you might want to cut them.
To get them in, I spread my left eye lid with my third finger and index finger on my left hand and then with my right hand insert the lense with some saline in the middle of the lense onto the eye while my eye is looking up or down. Usually pop right in. For the right one, I take my left hand and reach across my face and do the same thing I did for the left eye.
After a while you will pop them in and out at will.
Hope this helps.

Hey Jackie,
First of all you should seek an expert eye doctor’s opinion regarding your problem. They will suggest you the correct vision range that will solve this problem. Buying contact lenses is not a big deal as you can easily find them on online shops like contactlensheaven.com and many more. But you have to make sure that whether it will suit you or not. Also you need to understand that you can’t wear them regularly meanwhile in a day you have to wear eye glasses too.
