Cheryl Update

Hopefully this will be my last one before Cheryl can post for herself! I went to see her tonight and she looked GREAT! She ate some Taco Bell (no clue how she stomached that after not eating for 4 days but ok). She only had a tiny bit but she did manage to eat. She has her color back and we even walked the halls a bit! We played around and I even taped up her head and taped a rubber glove blown up to her face and took pictures (I'll have to post those pics later). Of course I got busted by the nurse but it was definitely great to have my girl back! They still don't know what caused all of this and I hope that Cheryl is smart (hint hint) and continues getting whatever tests they can do to determine the cause for this whole thing. She is expecting to be set free in the next day or 2 and I am hoping that means that I have a Chevy's partner for next weekend LOL!!! I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support and remind you all to not take anyone important in your life for granted...I think sometimes we get so caught up in our day to day that we don't even think about what our life would be like without someone in it...This week was probably one of the hardest things that I'd been through because after I saw her that first day, I really thought that I was going to lose someone who is so important to me and it made me stop and realize just how important she really is to me! Love ya girl! OK now cut it out! I have no one to go to Chevy's with (can't ya tell it's Friday night at going on midnight and I am in the house on the computer)...PLUS I don't want to pay to get in! Christine, thanks so much for keeping us updated. My thoughts and prayers have been with Cheryl this week as she has been going through this ordeal. She sure is blessed to have a wonderful friend like you by her side. Courtney

I am so glad to hear she has improved. And yes, it is a very scarey thing. Make sure you make her keep us posted about her continued care. You have been a great friend to her. Now, go get your party on, girl. Susan

I'm so glad to hear she's doing better and will hopefully be released soon. I've been reading all the posts and it's scary that they don't know what caused this. Here's to hoping she's home in the next day or so... Missy
