Cheryl Update
I went to visit Cheryl but didnt get to see her because she was having testing done. They did the test to determine where the internal bleeding could be coming from. According to Cheryl's mom, they said that the test was negative, meaning that there was no internal bleeding. However, they did the 3rd blood transfusion...I don't get it! They are going to bring in a neurologist and a couple other specialists in order to see if someone can figure this out. I talked to her for a little while but she is very weak. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Pray that God will give her the strength because she is getting very frustrated. I'm planning to go up again tomorrow night. I will update if I hear anything else.
Thanks for all of your concern!
Christine
G'morning Christine -
You know Im sending all the positive thoughts, vibes and prayers her way! I talked to Wendy last night (Thursday Sushi Night) ...and she mentioned that she'd gone by to see Cheryl yesterday and she looked terrible. Very pale, very weak, very out of it. I know the grandparents were there at the time too - and Mom has been in and out, the entire time. Can they not get more VOCAL about what's going on? Treatement, results, new docs, new hospital? Anything.
I know that Hospitals are not going to listen to Non-Family Members, but maybe they would listen to them?
Please give Cheryl my hugs and love,
Lei
Internal bleeding does not always show up on tests. My dad had it after his colon surgery and it took them 5 days to finally open him back up. They nicked his liver. He almost died. So hopefully someone will do that with Cheryl if the tests are not conclusive. I feel so bad for her and her family. Her little boy is her world and I'm sure she is the same to him. My mom put Cheryl on her prayer list. I'm the spiritual Eastern Religion type, so I thought adding a few more religions in the prayers would help.
