Hi Karen I have Cigna after switching jobs and leaving Atena who denyed me for not having the six months supervised doctor, so i started on my six months last June and ended on Dec 16th 06 and the paper work was faxed to the doctors office that will perform the surgery and they faxed it over to Cigna the same day(Friday) by the next Tuesday I got a call that was approved. It took three business days but i made sure all of my I's where dotted and T's crossed. It's to Gods Glory that I'm able to have this surgery and I am very excited. Make sure your PCP is on board and it's medically necessary and you will not have any problems out of Cigna. Please make sure that your company does not exclude it from your policy double check. Hey Karen I am new to the boards too. Everyone has been so welcoming. As I read the boards I see that this is the right place to be. We are never alone. Don't know anything about Cigna, I have Tricare Prime. See ya Jen
