Observation

I had a few extra minutes this evening so I logged into some other states to see how active their sites are. I only went into 3 states but WOW are we lucky. There were dozens of posts with zero responses and some of these posts were asking for help. I feel so bad for them. We have such great support within our state. I'm proud of you guys. I don't post much but I know if I had a question or a problem you guys would be 'johnny on the spot' to help me out. Happy New Year!

Oh, Jennifer, you haven't a clue yet....I have met some of the most amazing "angels" on this board in the last year...they are truly my family of choice. Yes we are lucky to have the support we have here and I love all you guys so much, new and oldies...Happy New Year to you all. Huggles, Betsy

Hey girl Happy New Years to you How are you doing?

I'm just doing super. I have gained and lost the same pound multiple time the last week. I'll be glad to get back into a routine when i go to work tomorrow. This vacation has been the best one I've ever had. I've been so happy and stress-free. It's almost a miracle. Let's all pray for a peaceful new year for all of us. Love, J

Glad you had a great holiday Jenn! There is truly support here and I have gained some of the best friends I have ever had in my life. I have really found who my true friends are with all I have been thru over the last few months and many came from this board. They are only a post, email or call away when I need them. I remember when this board used to be dead. Leilani, Wendy, Tink and myself made it a point a few years ago to get this board moving. I'm proud to say we were quite successful! The only other State boards that I know is just as active as us is probally the Alabama board and New York Board. WE are very lucky to have such an active and wonderful group of people here. Speaking as a participant of this board I have to say that I love this board - people are so helpful and friendly and always there to lend an ear or a helping hand. I am glad I found this board and glad to be a part of it. Jackie

I have been mostly lurking because I am wading through insurance requirements before my WLS can be scheduled, and when I do post my questions are answered thoughtfully and quickly. I also appreciate how people here care enough to tell people things they might not necessarily want to hearin order to save them pain and suffering later...it takes a big heart (and flame-proof underwear!) to be able to do that. I can always feel that people here are family in every sense of the word and it is comforting. I hope someday I have the honor of meeting as many people on here as possible. Everyone is such an inspiration and never fail to assure me that I am doing the right thing.
