I have decided not to make New Year's Resolutions because it sets me up for failure - instead I resolved to do as well with my continued weight loss as I possibly can..... Jackie

Hi Melinda, I am sure that you will make your goal by your wedding. As far as my resolution... I have been thinking that I want to study my bible more. I want also to be more organized. I am pitifull. I have more "junk drawers" in my house that I do not know what is in them than ones that are semi organized. Happy New year! by the way, how is your mom? I have been praying for her. I am making a resolution to try and keep an attitude of gratitude this year--no matter what life brings. I have been blessed beyond measure these past months--so each day I wake up is a gift from God and something to be very grateful for. Wishing all a healthy, happy and skinnier New Year!

I prefer to think of resolutions as "goals" so here are some goals for this year. 1. Prep for surgery and do everything I am told to do regardless of whether I think I know better than someone else. (In otherwords, humility.) 2. Exercise everyday. 3. Clean out my closets when it is appropriate. 4. Enjoy my life even when I am heavy because tomorrow is only a promise not a guarantee. 5. Measure success in smaller increments.

Hi Melinda, my New Years resolution is to not be all or nothing type of person that I usually am. I plan on setting more attainable goals so that I won't set myself up for failure. Once I get to one I'll set another one. Another one is just to be healthier, and make good choices. Anna
