Sugarfree Redbull?
Red Bull is not good for you at all . It has an additive in it called Turmoline . This can and will damage your liver over time . Not to mention it has caffene in it . This acts as a diruetic and on my docs plan I can only have 2 cups a day .
If you need an energy drink .. try Green Tea ... I just can not reccomend any energy drinks that fit into an RNY's daily life .. Just me .. there may be some out there that drink these .. I dunno .. but for me .. I stay far away ..

Hello Courtney -
Well, I read Natalie's reply first and have to say, Ive never done any research on "red bull " or it's ingredients, so this is strictly a PERSONAL opinion.
I drink the stuff. Love it. Been drinking it for years and years, and yep, even the 4 years that Ive been postop.
Now, by saying I drink it - I'm probably talking 2 or 3 a WEEK, not daily. Um, and I don't avoid it more, because Im worried about health risks, like I said, no research on that by me. I don't drink it that often cause it keeps me WIRED! That being said? I'm a BIG coffee drinker, another thing Ive been drinking for many many decades and have continued to do it SINCE my surgery.
In fact, that's the ONLY way I get my crummy, er, I mean, healthy protein shakes down. Mix them with ICED COFFEE, and trust me it's FULL leaded.
I, personally, plan on continuing. Have never had a side affect or adverse reaction - I think as with ANYTHING in life, too much of something can be a bad thing. LOL, maybe continue to enjoy your redbull ...but don't hook yourself up to an IV full of the stuff?
Oh, one more thing.... the carbonation from SF Redbull was actually too much for me the first 2 years Post Op. Stomach just couldnt handle ANYTHING with a fizz, so it might not be as easy on you this early out.
