I have been away from the board, my mom is real sick. I am so sorry for the tragedy the other families have had to endure. I am so glad Paul is OK, but I know you are touched by the other's losses. I will pray for all of you. I hope your New Year is bright. Many hugs, Loris

I am so glad to hear he is OK. No matter what we think, we are never ready for a loss such as this. My prayers are with the families.

Lei~~ I'm sorry that this is so long after the fact---have been away from the Board from a while. I was a Navy wife for 21 yrs--though I was not married to a submariner. I know how it was difficult when my husband was gone for long periods--I can't even imagine how much more difficult it must be to be married to a submariner. Their whereabouts always so guarded leaving families to wonder and pray for their saftey constantly. Then WHAM they are on the news after a major tragedy. I have been in a situation awaiting news of the ship during a stressful time----the Navy seems to move at a snail's pace in getting word to families. My sympathies to the entire grieving USS Minneapolis/St Paul family. Your strength is amazing, Lei. My prayers for you and Paul as you count off the days till you are reunited once again. Angel on your shoulder
