Alan And Tink Updates ...

Well , it is ALMOST official . Alan and I are planning on marrying . He has not officially asked me , but we have picked out my engagment ring and he goes next week to get it . It is one of a kind , designed by a jewler in Bethesda . All I can say is I about fell out of my chair when she placed the rock inside the setting . I am going today to purchase my Wedding Gown . JoAnn is coming up and spending the night with me and I have an 11 am appointment today to try t hem on . I am so excited about this .. whooot whoot !! We have also picked a place to do this . We are planning on heading to Wintergreen sometime in April .. I think .. don't hold me to it ... as we still need to decide on a date and he needs to Officialy ask me .. LOL .. He says he is planning something Big .. so look out for lot's of tears . I will be spending Christmas down in Richmond as he has to work the entire week . But he will be back to get me on the following Friday as it is my Grandsons Birthday . This man has been my rock . And for those that have met him , know he is an angel .. true as they come . I am so lucky to have him in my life . As for me , I am still struggling to get my hydrocortisone straight . I go January 23rd back to John Hopkins for my thyroid tumor biopsy . Fun fun .. Hopefully I will have gotten all this straightended out before April .,. ya think .. Well .. take care .. enjoy the week before the holidays get here . Much love , Natalie

Congratulations, Natalie! I have not had the honor of meeting you yet, but I have been following your blog ever since I began my journey. I can't think of anyone who deserves more happiness than you! You have been in my prayers during your ordeal with the tumors, and I will continue to keep you there as you continue your journey. Wintergreen is such a beautiful location! It's not too horribly far from where I live in far western Goochland. It is just as pretty in the summer as it is in the winter. You will look gorgeous in your gown surrounded by all of the beautiful mountain scenery. Heck, you'll look gorgeous no matter where you decide to tie the knot!
