Cold Meds?

Hello everyone, I have managed to catch a stupid cold. I was wondering what OTC meds I can take. I have a cough and sore throat. So if someone could tell me what is ok to take I would appriciate it. I hope everyone is having a good week end. I have had to work graveyard shift all weekend long. Oh well, gotta get that paycheck. Cathy

Cathy, The Tylenol based ones are okee-dokee for us post-op. And I've found the Zicam (zinc) stuff great for lessening the effects of a cold if you catch it early. At the first hint of a scratchy/sore throat, I either take a Zicam lozenger or use the nasal swab or spray. Seems to help. Feel better, Kathy

I take the Zicam nose spray - I hate it but it does seem to help.....occasionally I take the nightime tylenol too - but I hate the taste. Jackie
