I guess today is the day of results ... Well .. The doctor called me from John Hopkins and I do indeed have a thryoid tumor . It measures 3.5 x 2.7 cm . They are scheduling a needle biopsy asap . And to top it off .. they lost my lab work . They are looking for it now .... Joy ... ! But on the up side ... or downside .. depends on how you look at it .. I also in all this other crap .. I have a severe hernia . It is now huge .. I look 9 months pregnant and in very bad pain from it . Severe Burning in my lower abs and my side .. so Dr. Hutcher as agreed to do my hernia repair January 23rd along with my Tummy Tuck . This gives me 6 weeks to prepare .. MORE PROTEIN .. MORE PROTEIN .. So .. Keep me in your continued prayers .. and one day .. I promise this saga will end .. Natalie

Oh Natalie..my heart goes out to you. I am sorry that I haven't been able to email you.. there has been ALOT going on here. The military won't let Pete retire and are dangeling Iraq orders in his face. We have had too much drama this last week. You are in my prayers. Keep your spirit up !!! Love ya, Dana

Hey Nat! I have been thinking of you while I was on vacation. Hate that you are having to go through this. You know that God has a reason for it. You...like Kathy...have become a "walking encyclopedia" as far as medical conditions are concerned. You are armed and dangerous with info to fight your battles...which is awesome! Then...you are so gracious to share with us what you are going through...and all benefit from you sharing what you have learned. I pray that God will guide the surgeon's hands....and that all of this will be a distant memory soon...and you and Alan can move on to more happy times. Hmmm...on a more positive note...think of the tummy tuck as a late Christmas present if you can...and a new start to what HAS to be a better year for you! Love, Stephanie

Yes Kim , He will do a TT if you have a hernia . He is not a Plastic surgeon , but he is a great surgeon and he assures me he can make me as flat as a pancake .. give me a mons pube lift as well .. and have me back to feeling good in no time . Dr. Hutcher to me is an angel .. I could not have picked a better surgeon to suit me . Best luck to you .. He will be great for you .. Tell him Natalie said to give you the Cadilac of surgeries .. ! Hey woman! My best regarding the latest news on the tumor! Hopefully they can irradicate it or shrink it, and it will cause no damage! Sounds like you are excited abou the hernia.. seems odd, yes? But I totally understand where you are coming from. I know you have wanted your tummy tuck for a long while now, so I hope everything goes as planned on that avenue! Keep up with your supplements, you know how important they are pre-op! Much love girly, Wendy

Oh Natalie - I am so sorry for everything you are going through - if it is not one thing it is another - but you are good at fighting them off and getting on with your life..... I don't know many people who can pick themselves up like you do - I am so impressed with your strength and character. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they can find the tumor to be easy to eridicate or remove and then you get rid of your hernia and have a super flat tummy!!! Sorry have not been on here too much lately , and when I do it is only for a short spurt at a time. Work and everything to do with Christmas is catching up with me!! Take care Jackie
