Here is the recipee for the protein balls that I make. I add about 7-10 packs of spenda. ( I like them sweeter) If they are too thick to roll into balls, I have also added SF syurp to the mix to make it a little moister. ENJOY! Cathy PROTEIN BALLS 1 cup Peanut Butter 1 cup rolled oatmeal -- not the instant stuff 1 cup protein powder 5 packets Sugar substitute Warm the peanut butter in microwave about 30-40 seconds -- it melts it and makes mixing in the other ingredients much easier. Add the oatmeal, protein powder, and Sugar substitute and mix well. (If needed, you can add a little bit of water to make it easier to mix) Roll into walnut sized balls, refrigerate. Store in fridge in zip-lock baggies. This recipe makes 20-24 balls.

I use a whey protein powder from walmart. You can get it in chocolate or vanilla. I use the chocolate in this recipee. CP

The Quaker box says Rolled Oatmeal on the label. This means not instant and not quick oats. They have been processed the least. They are the only kind I buy. I am wondering if she uses Unjury or a flavored powder. I followed one recipe and LOVED the result. I tried a second recipe with choc. protein powder and did NOT like them at all. L

I use Quaker oats and chocolate protein powder that I bought at walmart. I think that there is about 9g protein per ball. CP

To be honest Beth I would leave it a few weeks yet because the oatmeal may be a bit rough on your stomach - but once your stomach woes are over there would be no reason not to have them. I made them yesterday and they are very filling!! Not to mention pretty delicious!! It probably depends what protein powder you use too... Jackie
