Melinda Gregory Batterman - Gene Peery Jr Darlene Sites of Grottoes has announced the engagement of her daughter, Melinda Gregory Batterman of Barboursville, to Gene Peery Jr., also of Barboursville. Batterman is also the daughter of the late Ronnie Batterman. Peery is the son of Loucille Sprouse of Stanardsville. Peery graduated from Albemarle High School. He works at Monticello and Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville. An October 2007 wedding is planned.

I know but that paper scares me lol I was married for 14 yrs and it was a joke. Gene and I been together for 10 yrs and we have made it work this way so kinda nervous about taking the next step lol .
