An "AFTER" shock!

Ha! Tomorrow is the Meet & Greet for OHers in our area, and they're having a clothing exchange. So I was sorting through clothes last night, and oh..... the memories! I can remember the desperation in some of the purchases, hating something but having little choice because of the size I needed. I can remember the clothes I felt good in! I can remember events associated with certain clothes, and how I felt! (Usually so miserable and huge). Then there was just the sheer shock at how BIG those clothes are!!! At one point I had one of those magazine "after" pictures come to mind where two people fit into one pair of pants!!! I called for my daughter, and we laughed and cried and carried on as we managed to each fit into one of my old pant legs!! Then we called for my teenage son to come see, who per his usual attitude, just rolled his eyes and returned to the computer game he was playing! What an amazing journey this has been! Sometimes moments like this are surreal - they seem like a dream, or someone elses life, and they always take your breath away! I am SO grateful I had this surgery! Thanks for being such a fun and colorful part of the journey! Crystal
