A little humor...from a WOW moment

Ok...so I thought I'd share this and hopefully those that are struggling with their health or journey can get a smile from it. So, last night my DH and I were watching the football game (Thank you NFL Network!). The announcer was saying one of the guy's physical stats. In the past this always made me feel like a whale because I'd think "I'm even bigger than those monster football players". WELL...let me tell you....the guy they mentioned weighed 6 pounds more than I do currently!! I lept off the couch and started hooting and jumping around....DH looked at me a little funny until I blurted out "HE WEIGHS MORE THAN I DO!!!" DH then just got a big smile on his face and said "Yes he does." Of course, I had to say it outloud 2-3 more times and was really happy inside. It's the little things I guess....(Of course the guy is a foot taller but hey...don't deny me my wow moment!) Christina S

That's awesome Christina! That moment really touches home for me. I was big my whole life, even back in highschool. One day in the lunch room a boy told me I should have been a linebacker since I already looked like one. He turned away with the whole table laughing at me. It was AWFUL. I think of it now, and it makes me sad. I really hope that asshole makes it to our ten year reunion, that will be all the payback I need! Sorry, I kind of hijacked your post with my personal story, but I wanted you to know where I was coming from when I told you what a cool wow moment that is! Thanks for sharing.
