HamptonRoads Holiday Get-Together Dec. 2nd

Ok, So far here is who I have for the Holiday Get together. I've Chosen the Date of December 2nd (Saturday). Dana & Pete Stephanie M. Sporty Jill & Hubby Amber and Son Corinne "Frogger", hubby and 2 kids Michelle Jane, Mom and Dylan So far that's 15. I know some people are getting back to me and some people are out of town. So I will give people a little more time. Finding places to eat that has something we all can eat has been difficult. I'm thinking about Joe's Crab Shack. If we book a table with 10 or more people ahead of time, our whole group gets 10% off. Also Kid like the place. But I know some people might not eat Seafood or my be allergic. I was also thinking of going to my favorite restaurant the Cheesecake Factory )The one at MacArthur Center is between bothe VA Beach and Hampton (Where I live). I like the cheesecake factory because of the variety of food )It takes me about 20 minutes to read the menu!) offered plus they have a fantastic SF cheesecake that's worth the trip alone. So let me know what you think. I like either place. Once I get feedback from you guys, I'll pick the place and make the reservation. I'm looking forward to Meeting Everyone. As for the Chinese gift exchange, I'll send out seperate rules for that later. It will be dinner. Probally an early one since it gets dark so late and the kiddos won't get to cranky. I was thinking 5 pm. By the time we get drinks and food etc. it will be getting late. If you really want to have an evening out type thing with no kids, Leilani and Wendy and I plan on doing something when she gets back from Florida. Maybe do Karaoke. I'll let you know and you can meet us somewhere. Right now, my scheldule is iffy. My mom's cancer is back and will be havign chemo again soon. She'll be too sick to babysit and will need a babysitter herself. Jane

Hello beautiful Jane.. I have been a mess with too much going on. What is the final decision on when and where? I may have overlooked it looking back through the posts...I just want to make sure. If that Michele is me than you need to add 2 more to that for the hubby and son. I think either place sounds good, never been to either one. Should be a great night, getting to meet new people and try a new place to eat. Looking forward to it. ~Michele~

I like both places, but I know how to get to MacArthur Center. So my choice is CF! I'm so excited!!!! I'm hoping Jessica, Robin, Cheryl, Autumn, and Christine will come too! Amber

I might try to make it, I'll have to talk to hubby and see what's going on. I know I haven't met anyone from the board yet and i'd like too... I know where Norfolk is but i'd need directions on how to get there, I'm in Hampton. Missy
