Hi All, I am going to write a letter for my surgeon to include with my appeal. I have read a few and thank you to those of you posted them in your profiles. I am wondering if any of you guys have a letter that you wrote for your PCP to sign for your appeal. I figure if I had it written and all my PCP had to do was sign, I would get it quicker. Also if anyone has an appeal letter, I'd love to see some more of those too. Should I include pictures showing my swollen ankles, rolls of blubbler, etc. and before pictures of me when I was thin and able to be athletic and enjoy "living"? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance with this! Tkae Care Everyone, Robin

Good Luck Robin !! I don't know so I can't answer your questions but I am crossing my fingers for you. My gut feeling is once you cut through all the red tape you will get your surgery !! Big Hugs !!! Dana

Thanks so much, Dana. I'm excited about your big news. I know you and your husband are both going to enjoy your Christmas present! I'll get there one day soon! Cheers, Robin

Hey Robin, I want you to know that I will send up extra prayers for you. As I've told you many times, I know first hand the frustration you are experiencing. As for the letters, I do have the one that "was" on my profile. When my profile was switched to the new style I made a back up copy of it so I could retrieve the information as I needed it. The only letter I had to write was the one to the insurance company. My PCP was the one that recommended me for the surgery. If you need a copy of my letter I will be more than glad to share it with you. Just e mail me and I'll copy and paste it for you. I didn't have to do anything after that. My surgeon's office took it from there including the appeal. Lots of Love Kathy
