another update

Well had another attack yesterday after eating lunch. Called the dr and spoke with the physicians assistance. She said it really sounded like my gall bladder and that the blood work wouldn't show it unless I had a stone outside of the gall bladder but if I have stones inside it won't show in the blood work. So she said to go have a gall bladder ultrasound done. I have an appointment for one on Tuesday and should find out Tuesday or Wednesday what is going on. So until then I am being very careful about what I eat, hoping not to have another attack, and uping my protein in case I have to have surgery. Sorry I couldn't respond to everyone. Gotcha covered in the prayer department courtney....I know how bad that all feels....I had my gall bladder removed years ago the old fashioned way...when they cut you from the middle of your body to the side!!!! Major surgery then before lap! Good luck. Keep us updated. Love ya.. Hugs, Betsy

Hi, Court, I am glad you have an appointment so soon. I had the same thing 13 years ago and had lap surgery then. You will feel so much better if that is what is wrong and they remove the thing! I'll be thinking of you. Sue

Oh Courtney I am so sorry about your pains - it is kind of frightening to not know what is going on with your own body! But we do know that some of us lose our gall bladders after surgery. I am keeping everything crossed for you! And whaever it is I hope they can fix ot quickly and as painlessly as possible for you! Jackie
