Clothes Available!
Hi all-
I decided to go through my closet again and came up with LOTS of clothes I'm ready to remove from my closet for good! The sizes range from 34/5x to 22/24 and some shoes (10-9). I'm including a link here, but also in my profile (in case this one doesn't work).
I've included "suggested" donation for each item, but if you really want something and can't afford it email me...we can negotiate . I would ask that you pay for shipping if you're not local to No. VA and can't arrange for a pick-up. If you do want something, send me an email with the item number and the specific color (if multiple available). It's first-email, first get...and I'll do my best to update as often as needed.

(Hopefully it will work this time!)
Thanks for looking....

Kim-
Thanks! I lost a shoe size somewhere along the way, but not since surgery. I just found a bunch of shoes that I either don't wear anymore or bought on a whim (some of the funky heels) and never wore. I have noticed that my current shoes are feeling better...so I may be losing there too I just haven't checked in a long time (no smaller shoes in the house to try!).
I'm such a clothes-horse that I have a bunch to get rid of! Some are harder than others to let go. The brown striped shirt was my husband's favorite, but it absolute swallows me now...he was sad until I showed him another shirt I have that has a similar "hole" in the front.

It is common to lose a shoe size. I didn't think I would because I was a light weight when I started my journey. Not so. I have been an ample 8 for years. If I could get a wide, then then ample 7 1/2 W.
Now I can wear many of my daughter's shoes. She varied from a 7 1/2 N to R. The Ns are too narrow, but the Rs fit me fine and some of my old favorites--my BIRKENSTOCKS!!--are quite sloppy on my feet.
I recall reading where one of us had lost 2 shoe sizes from a 12 to a 10 I think.
Have fun!

Hi Christine, I know that there is a clothing exchange available at the Monday support meetings -- I have gotten and given many nice things from that source! However, if you're interested only in selling these items, you might want to think about eBay! Plus sizes are very very popular and easy to sell. And it's fun!! Just a thought, they all look to be in very good condition so I think it would be easy for you.

Donna-
Thanks! I had thought about Monday night, but there are so many I'm not sure I could cart them back and forth by myself! I thought about ebay but thought I'd give my fellow WLS folks a crack first....and I've not sold anything on ebay before so I'd have a learning curve to contend with (which I won't have time to deal with until I take a bit of vacation in December). SO...What I don't give to others this go around I may save and put on ebay later or I may just take to charity.
Thanks for the ideas though!

HI Christina (I'll get the 'a' on there this time!!). Listen - if I can do ebay you can!! It is really easy. And the hardest part is taking the pictures, which you've done, then you just write the narrative, list it and sell it!! I'd be happy to help in anyway that I can.
And llike I said, you'd be surprised what sells!!
