Can some one reccomend a good lasik eye surgeon in Northern VA. that discount 500 bucks per eye stuff scares. I am willing to get a cheap boob job but I don't want to sell my eye sight short LOL I am finally fed up I have lost my glasses because my husband wanted to play tarzan and jane last night, and my contacts are malfunctioning I just want to see without any extra stuff thanks guys later Heather

I live near Fredericksburg, VA and had Dr. Coleman @ Access Eys on Rioute 3 do mine about 6 months ago. I love it. I may have to have a touch up, but I was blind as a bat before Lasik. Try him out. Tracy

Of all the reasons I have had for having more than one pair of glasses, having played Tarzan and Jane was never one of them, ! Good luck, Lois

My eye surgeon does this. Here is the link to his bio at the Vision Quest Laser Eye Clinic in Vienna. It's right on 123 near Nutley. http://www.vqlc.com/index.cfm/doctors/kennethkarlin He is a bit low on the bedside manor but I've been going to him for 16 years. He did both of my cataract operations. I have no had him to Lasik but I would trust him with anything to do with the eyes. Kathy

Heather, I had mine done at TLC Laser Eye Center in Reston (Drs. Whitten and Perrault). I felt the same as you; I wanted one of the best eyes surgeons to operate on my eyes. I wasn't taking any chances on the eyes. Being able to see means a lot to me. BTW, I had my lasik surgery almost 2 years ago - no problems whatsoever. And, yes, you do have immediate improvement as soon as the surgery is done. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! ~~Gail~~
