Hi Kathy, What town is the support group meeting in? Where is it in relation to Lexington, VA? I have a friend who lives there and has no support group to attend. Thanks, Karen

I live 20 minutes from Lexington and we have no support group here. The closest ones are in Lynchburg or C'ville. I have heard tell there is a group in Roanoke but no one ever posts about it. The central/southside folks are even further away. Not much help, I know. I find my support here. Lois

The Ronaoke Group meets the First Monday of every month at 7:00 in the auditorium at Rehab Bldg. (Across the street from the Crystal Spring bldg.). Anyone is welcome Pre, Post, just thinking or if you had surgery outside the Carillion Network. If anyone has any questions please feel free to e-mail me.

Hey Karen, I wish I could tell you this meeting is close to you but it's not. It's for the people who live in the Tri-city area and surrounding counties. Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, Chesterfield Co, Prince George Co, Dinwiddie Co, It would be so wonderful if there were meetings in all the local areas that were convenient for everyone. Perhaps one day there will be. And you do know you could start your own. It's not that hard and yet it is very rewarding. So many people need this support system. Lots of Love Kathy
