update on me & some wows

Hi everybody. I wanted to let you know that I am doing good. I took some quiet time this weekend and was able to relax and rest. My man made it a point to take really good care of me. He is wonderful. The services for my grandmother will be today and tomorrow. Of course my closet was bare and I needed appropriate clothing so shopping I went. I was awestruck when I went home with a beautiful, little, size 12 dress. Also over the weekend I needed an extra shirt so I grabbed one of my mans shirts and looked at the tag, it said medium, I decided to try it anyway and it fit. So then for fun I decided to try his jeans and those cute little 32's fit me too. Well needless to say he isn't getting that outfit back (at least not until it is too big forme). Courtney

Congrats Courtney. Isnt that a great feeling. I have a couple 12's that fit and even a couple juniors jean i can fit in on days my tummy aint swelled from my issues. Glad you are making it thru this difficult time. Hugs Shannon

I must have been hiding for too long. I recall your posting before your surgery about a guy who didn't really fit the bill. I haven't heard anything else about the MAN in your life!.. Do TELL! How long have you been together? I am so glad to hear there is a new life for you! I had my first real date in many, many years (when I dated my husband-to-be) Sunday. It looks like different things are in store for me, altho this guy will probably not be in the picture. You and I am about the same size now. Hooray for us! Hugs, Lois
