It's hard to believe that exactly one year ago today, I was lying in a bariatic bed at MCV in Richmond waiting for my WLS. Boy, how my life has changed in a year. I weighed at pre-op 373 and this morning I was 223. That is 150 freakin lbs. My energy level has tripled. I want to thank everyone who has helped me on this incredible journey and I know that it is not even close to being over. Sorry that I haven't posted in quite sometime but I have been like the energizer bunny...going, going, and, going. Hope everyone is great. Thanks agian for the support. Jeff Byrd P.S. The picture here is very old. I hope to update soon!!!

Hi Jeff, And congratulations! I know what you mean about busy. I was lying in bed last thinking about the upcoming German Club trip to Busch Gardens, when it hit me that THAT day last year was the first day of my pre-op diet. How time flies! I had wondered about your progress. I try to keep with with the Dr. Kellum patients. Lois

Thanks Lois!!! I was sorry to hear about your loss back in the summer. I have been meaning to write to you but like I said before...busy,busy,busy. Keep up the good work. Jeff B.

Hi Jeff, Congratulations on your success and your anniversary. I am only 2 months & 2 weeks out and can only imagine how good I will feel in a year. It is an amazing journey and I wish you continued success. Your weight loss is awesome and you should feel very proud of your accomplishments. Now, carry on little bunny. Lots of Love Kathy
