Um, please read COOTIES!

Hey yall- First, apologies for not having done the daily posts much this week. I'm on here briefly then I'm going to try not to go with not being able to hear. I spent last night in the ER and am home now but I have a VERY painful double ear infection which has caused my to lose almost all my hearing. I can hear mumbling at best. It is unknown why my hearing has been affected so greatly but I am on pain meds, an antibiotic and decongestant to this crap out hopefully. I've been referred to an ENT specialist if my hearing does not return to some normal type levels by this pm. I have to say it is truly freaky not to be able to hear. On top of this, I have severe Bronchitis and the makings of a nasty upper respiratory infection. I'm a mess what can I say??? Please understand if ya call...well I can't hear ya ...I'm on pain meds for the headache and pressure but cause I have Miss Nora my youngest bugga home until someone can come hang out...so if I don't respond right away...I'm good with instant messaging and ya'll know I have Yahoo! & AIM so...say a few prayers... Also, I can say I have a new respect for those who are deaf. This is an extremely hard sense to lose for me. But - hey ya'll could look at it like this, since I cannot hear I also am not talking much. "Kat isn't talking THANK GOD!" LMAO! Anyhow have a fabulous Friday and weekend! Love ya'll - Kat

Oh my goodness I am so sorry you are feeling so lousy. Please make sure you get this taken care of because you don't want to mess with something like your hearing.... I did notice it was quiet around here lol!! You need to make sure you take care of yourself while you are going through all of this.... If we can do anything for you please let us know.... AND GET WELL SOON!!! WE CAN'T HAVE A QUIET KITTY KAT!!! It is not natural!! Jackie

Hey all, it's Kats mom just letting you know that so far no change and she will be going to an ENT doctor on Monday morning I will be taking her. I am here with her and will stay until her husband or mine can come home and take over. Please keep her in your prayers. Come on Kat get better I love you, and want you to hurry and get better. We will let you know how things are going.
