Reservations - Saturday Night Dancing!

. G'morning friends ~ Here is the revised and now confirmed list for Saturday night. The club is called "Night Fever" [ http://nightfeverdanceclub.com/ ] they are located *near* the cross-roads of VaBeach Blvd and Newtown road. The actual address is, 800 Baker Road, phone 757-473-9746. Patty & George = 2 Nannette and Gene = 2 Sharon = 1 Kat = 1 Natalie and Alan = 2 Wendy G. = 1 Track = 1 Rick = 1 Paul and Leilani = 2 Christine = 1 Dana and Pete = 2 Kelli Joyce and Jay = 2 Eileen F. & Mike = 2 Cheryl Jagow = 1 Amber = 1 [maybe, she needs a ride if anyone lives near the boardwalk/beach] Reservations have been made/confirmed, we spoke with the General Manager (Jimmy) last night and asked that they sit us near the dance floor. Two things to keep in mind? 1) If you're ON this list of confirmed people, it's important that you be there by 8:30, which is when they will release the reservations. Although the DJ doesn't start till 9:00 and the club will most likely be fairly empty at that hour, it'll give us time to visit and talk before the music gets too loud. Ive never been there where ALL the big tables upfront near the dance floor wasn't already reserved. So if we don't want to risk losing our table and end up way in the back of the club, we need ya'll there. 2) We've been to this club several times during the winter months. Music is always great the crowds are always large. Thankfully, it's always been a good blend of peeps and ages, so I don't feel like Im chaperoning a prom. BUT, with this being the summer months, I have NO clue how busy they really get. People tend to head to the boardwalk for the free outdoor bands/festivals - if that's the case, we might end up owning this joint. lol - the way I see it, it won't matter.... we ARE the party! If you are still on the fence about coming out, it's never to late to just DO IT. Show up and we'll hopefully be able to shark out some chairs, we'll have more then enough table space. Also, Track has offered to take people KAYAKING (he's got 3 'yaks). Again, I don't know the specifics on when or where, but since those offers are buried in the first post, I thought I'd bring it back to the surface for those that might wanna take them up on it. This is probably going to be my LAST post - update on this. I have a very busy next two days coming up and not sure how much computer time I'll get. Thanks for helping me out, Lei. I'm going to have to take myself off. I didn't get a definitive answer from anyone so I decided to take my son out to North Landing Campgrounds this weekend. We're going fishing & stuff. However, I will catch up with you guys when I get back Sunday Morning. I hope you guys have a blast, wish I could be there!!! Amber
