My nice little 'wow' moment!

Well, it probably isn't really a wow moment, but hey, for me -- it was some kinda moment. I went in the market yesterday, and as I came out and walked past the Starbucks, there was this really nice looking guy sitting there. Bermuda shorts, nice tan legs (yeah, men, we do look at that too!), just sitting there real pleasant looking, probably about 45'ish, he was just looking at me, so what would you do -- yeah, I smiled at him. And he smiled back!!! Well my car was right there in the front and as I got to the car door I turned and looked at him and he was still looking at me and smiled, winked and gave me a thumbs up!! Woo hoo - I wanted to kiss him!! Instead I just gave him a huge smile. But okay, it gets weirder -- I told Greg about it, who by the way has not a jealous bone in his sweet body (unlike me!!), and he said 'you were flirted with, pumpkin (don't ask!!!) congratulations!! That's great'. Congratulations??? I don't get it. It was like I won something. Anyway, I just thought that was a nice little 'incident' in this not as young as I used to be lady's life!!! So I thought maybe you all would like to congratulate me as well!!!! love donna

Donna, this is huge. Write it down, write it down now on a piece of paper now. When the cravings come, take that little piece of paper out and read it, read it again outloud, and then shout it outloud. Wow, my very large patootee! This is mega-major. Now when was the last time I was ever flirted with....? Hmmm... Wait a minute, Ill come up with a time...hmmmm...well... I know it had to be...nope not then...hmmmm.... Leigh

That is wonderful!! You're right, that defintely needs to be memorialized in some way. And to be so specific as to have the date -- I could probably even pinpoint the time by looking at my cash register receipt-- that would be something. The totally funny thing is - this poor sweet man probably had absolutely no idea the impact of that innocent little smile, wink and thumbs up did for me. He's probably long forgotten, and here I am writing about it, and will be putting it in my profile!! Thanks Leigh! love donna

Go donna go donna, its you birthday go donna keep up the good work. I still feel to fat for all that stuff. I did get a compliment from a guy I used to work with. His wife was sitting there and kenny was standing behind me at my surgeons office. He had his surgery a couple years ago and we had not seen each other. I did not even recognize him. Kenny was so nice for the next few days. Imagine that. The guy just yelled out shannon you look great.Kenny needs that to happen more often or at least I do. I love being treated like the queen I am. That's so true JoAnn, and I will say that I have absolutely no problem telling people how good they look (male or female) and I think that is important. I am sure this hot guy had absolutey no idea he would make my day -- well, okay, my year!! love donna
