sighting off the coast of VA!!

It is official!...after nearly 3 years of trying to get Lei to get out on the water in the kayak...the task has been accomplished!...and I can say with intense pride that she did not tip over, did not flip, or do an 'ender'! In fact, along with Lei...the infamous Sharon...from Northern VA was also spotted frolicking in the surf...and her kids..All took thier turns in the kayaks and no bruises or bleeding was found to be in effect. But there were a lot of smiles! Just wanted to put it out there first...everyone else is busy...and I'm stuck here at work...but I've been trying to get her/them on the water since the day I met them...but I did it!...I think they may be hooked...so I am not responsible for any unwarrented charges on the credit cards when they come home with a 15 footer, set up for expeditions! I regret to say that I did not have my camera...but it happened...

Wow, I would love to go kayaking. That is one thing I get depressed about my wicked joints and my obese size is that I am not as active as I used to be. Backpacking was one of my favorite things to do. I see all these walking vacations available with extra activities like kayaking. Boy, would I love to do those things!! Congrats to Lei. "Ender," schmender, I would just be greatful to be able to fit into one!! Leigh

'Yakking was the first thing I went into after I lost most of my 175 + lbs...still can't seem to get below the 200 mark...but when I was able I attacked it with a vengence....hang in there...your time will come...and besides...I bet you'd still have a good time on the water...c'mon down...I love sharing our beaches with those unfamiliar with them.

I need to get down there before I see this summer close!! There is so much to do with you, between that and the scoot....you could keep me busy!! I shall see what I can do Dianna

I want to go too. We have the blow up Kayaks. Went one time this summer. Much easier than last year w/ 140 extra pounds hanging around. Need to go again. Hubby wanted to go at the beach last week but I knew I was not up to it. Maybe before the summer is out. SHannon

we have tons of shore line, bay frontage, inlets, creeks, waterways, fresh water, sal****er...water water...you name it...we got it...come on down!!

Hi neighbor, That sounds like a great day at the beach! I also would love to join you when I get some of this weight off, which should be very soon! My surgery is actually in about 13 hours. So maybe next summer. I love the outdoors adn the water. I have never been in a Kayak but I used to love to canoe! Anyway I live in Norfolk at work in Virginia Beach so we are neighbors! good luck on your upcoming surgery...it's an amazing process, has it's ups and downs, but even if I had to do it every year, I would. Best thing that has ever happened to me. 2 1/2 years out, no more diabetes, pancreitis, gout, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, nothing...nada...zip.... Keep us posted on your journey...and let me know when you want to go paddling...I'm out there, usually year round now that I have a sit in along with my sit on tops...

G'morning Track!!! I had an absolute BLAST yesterday, as you already know! I'm so glad you never 'give up' on me and are always willing to extend an/the offer. Thanks to YOU, I've lost my virginity to kayaking and riding on the back of an MC - life is fantastic! I also enjoyed our time last night at the boardwalk - both of the Blues bands were off the charts and the rain actually held off. Hope ya'll found Club Excess okay? lol, you know as much as I love to dance I had a lot more fun dancing behind closed doors here at the house. This honey moon period really rocks!
