My first WOW moment

Well, I'm sure its just a moment that everyone has, but it really set in with me. I was shopping this weekend. I'm a pretty avid shopper but I haven't been buying any clothes for myself because of my weight changes. I've become really frustrated and decided I'm buying one shirt. So I was sifting this clearance stuff at LB and I came upon this shirt that was really cute. All they had was a 26/28 (which was out of the question) and a 14/16 (which I thought no way in hell am I there yet). I've been wearing a 22/24. I said **** on it and tried it on.........it fit! It was a little snug. BUT IT FIT! And I'll be able to wear it for a while. It was pretty exciting, folks. Everyone can really see how much weight I've lost. Only 105 more pounds to go!!!! I'm very happy! I'm turning 30 in two days, what an awesome present! Amber

Great feeling...ain't it? Like shasron said...it just keeps getting better 'n' better! If you're not averse to shopping at local thrift stores...check out the Salvation Army store on the blvd. at the beacj, just before you get to Norfolk line, right after Haynes. Huge store, a lot of items still have the price tags on them and the best part of all...wednesdays are half price days on all clothing...except shoes. I've found a mens full length mashmere top coat, $25.00, silk shirts, you name it it's a great place to find some major deals. Keep up the great work, and be proud of what you've done...it's an awesome journey!!
