Hi Autumn, In my humble opinion - and some peoplelmay not agree with me - we malabsorb fats and my surgeon recommends that you have 2 teaspoonfuls of some kind of oil or fat per day to keep your skin in good condition and prevent it going dry. Having said that I admit I don't do that BUT I have some butter on baked potato, cook my shrimp in olive oil and garlic etc so I do take some fats but also take my vitamin E as well. I have no dry skin and my skin feels good! Jackie

I eat it !!! If I make samon, crab legs, or shrimp I use it all the time. As long as you are not putting the entire stick in your grits you should be good to go. Well, that is my opinion !!! Dana
