Hey Girlies It was so good to see all of you on Saturday!!! Had a blast with you all and I now know that I love the beach! Can't wait to get back there again! Hello Patty!! I always have a good time when we're together - you just have the warmest, most welcoming, caring, and truly genuine kinda personality. I hated that we only had a short afternoon together and hope like hell, you come back out here again, SOON!! Oh, and I don't mean within the next year, I mean within the SUMMER months. This time, come with the intent of spending the night? We can either do a girly-girl shared hotel room. Wendy and I have talked about doing that often - just for the hell of it, rent a room on the strip (yes, even if we're locals) then start the day early, breakfast, boardwalk, lay in the sun, swim, listen to the bands, eat dinner, drinks, more bands, wear our butts out - being tourists in our own back yard, and the best part NO one has to drive! Sorry I'll miss you and the others in Baltimore - like I said, my hubby has to take priority, he's in town the month of August, and then for a week in September - then the long deployment in October. Our time is too precious and few, so good wifey (cough) that I am.... yada yada yada. We're renting a 36 footer Sailboat on the 12th - and you're ALWAYS welcomed to go? I know you said the concert/festival was the weekend of the 19th, can you send me a link or info on it? Maybe I can talk my man into driving out that way - if not, then we SURELY need to hook up on the 26th? LOL - no pressure of course [whistling]....figured if I tossed out some REAL dates, that'll help us to commit to something THIS year. I suspect that next summer will be full of packing, selling our house in WA and looking for a new house in HI or OK, where ever we end up - so this is my last summer to be FULL of free time - let's MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!! The tickets are ony $15 for now, but I think they are $25 on that day. Let me know if you want me to pick up tickets for ya. Especially since he's taking vacation that week and MIGHT to head to the OuterBanks. So, please don't smack me too hard if he veto's the idea, now if you wanna punch his lights out, lemme just step aside! LOL ABSOLUTELY for sure, mark the weekend of the 26th/27th for VA-BEACH!!! It sounds like Nannette is driving into town and will get here late afternoon/early evening, on Saturday. Hopefully, she's not too whooped when she gets out of the car, I'm thinking I'd be in ZONE mode, myself. Regardless, you can always count on at least a few of us to be up for a good night of dancing. LOL - I love to dance, if I'd make that my DAILY exercise routine, I'd never gain another ounce in my life. Hello Sharon - WELCOME HOME!!!!!!! How was the reunion? Thought about you a time or two, between all the excitement of seeiing everyone again after dropping all the weight ... oh and add to that, the slice of heaven that called MONTANA, where you stayed. Yep, my sizzling frying bacon like body was jealous but happy for you. It's been horrible, heat wise, especially these last few days - good grief, a heat index in the triple digits? I thought it only got that hot on the flat flat "winds come sweeping down the plains" of Oklahoma and Texas. Ugh! It's GREAT to have you back and hell yes, you're more then welcome to haul your butt out here the weekend of the 26th. lol, if Nannette can come all the way from NJ, what's a quick [cough]... drive from NoVA! I can't make the B'more thing either. Wendy and I were really hoping too, planned on sharing the expenses of gas, hotel, etc, but our hubby's had different plans/schedules BOTH of them will actually be off their perspective boats and HOME.
