Update on Me!!!

Well this week I had scope. Doc says he did not see anything that could be causing my pain. Have nausea daily. Still sporadic undiagnosed abdominal pains, dizzy spells when I bend over or get up. Waiting on call from PCP cause when surgeon cant find anything refering to GB he refers you back to them. Pain not knowing but no news is good news i guess. I am petrified of local ER due to horror stories from other GB patients. Next time it gets bad again I am going anyways. I am slightly anemic but pushing the iron. I have dropped more weight though. That is a plus. Never know when things will make my tummy mad. Almost like when I first went on real foods. Will update when I know something. Thanks for the support. Shannon

Shannon - I hope they find the source of your pain soon - that doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Next they will probably do the blood pressure, thyroid tests, low sugar tests etc if they haven't already done them. Good luck! Jackie

Shannon, Keep your head up lady. They will figure it out soon....or it will correct itself. I know how it feels to go to the ER where they are not fimilar with GB patients. I experience that myself here in Hburg when I had my blockage. Finally after my third trip to the local ER I "demanded" as I like to call it that they have me transported back to UVA and they did--and as you know, I was admitted immediately to UVA. If you feel too uncomfortable...have them take you to UVA--one of Schrimer's residents have to accept you, but they don't play around there...they will take you!
