A Grandma & Wow Moments

Hey Everyone, Sorry I haven't been around for the last few days but my youngest daughter, Jennifer gave birth to a beautiful baby boy Monday, July 24th. He weighed in at 6 lbs. 9 oz. and was 19 3/4 inches long. I was able to be in the labor/delivery room and see the birth for myself. It was the most awesome thing I have ever witnessed. To watch your baby give birth to her baby.......WOW. But that didn't end my WoW moments. People are starting to notice my weight loss which is now at 38 lbs. in 3 1/2 weeks. Remarks like "look at Miss Skinny Face"....."wow, you look really good" are coming my way. That's all nice & good but I didn't realize the weight loss myself until this morning when I went into my closet and pulled out a pair of pants (without elastic waistband) and was able to button & zip them. I have not had this pair of pants on in over 3 years. This was a definite turning point for me. I can see the benefit of my surgery and I am as happy as can be. Just had to share this good news with my friends on OH. Thanks again for all your support and love. I am planning on posting a new picture soon. Lots of Love Kathy 305/267/185/160
