Where to Start !

Had my visit yesterday with Dr.Parker at Commonwealth . He told me that He and Doctor Hutcher had been studying my tumor . He said that it could go either way .. malig or benign .. and that he would be willing to do what ever it takes to get me well . I begin explaining to him that NIH is doing the same study on adrenal gland tumors and that I wanted to take part in this study . Well would you believe that Dr.Parker has studied at NIH when he was working on his Doctorate .. and knew exactly what I was asking for . He immediatly said he would approve me for the study . He went on to assure me that if it is Cancer that at NIH is also the National Institute of Cancer and they would take over my treatment , and that I would be in the best hands possible .. that no where in the world would I receive better treatment and care . He was really excited to see that I was doing my homework and that my treatment and prognosis would be great . I am here to tell you all that God is moving here .. he is directing this whole mission .. believe it or not .... he has the handle on this one !!! So today they will be submitting my referal to NIH and I should know something in a couple weeks , in the mean time I am off from work and up here in Rockville MD .. so if there are any NOVA friends out there up for lunch one day or a shopping adventure please feel free to email me .. I would love to see you all ! I am also going to use this time to work on the next event in January for the WLS Expo .. so many things to do to get ready for it .. even though it is July .. That's GREAT news, Natalie. Glad to hear that with each new update, it's something even more POSITIVE then the last. Sounds like you're heading in the BEST direction for medical care, can't get any better then the "best of the best" in the medical world, you know?
