My photos are just unbelievable!! Gross!!!!

Hi, my pics finally got on here and oh my god. I knew i was bad but when you look at the pics you really get to see your self and pictures do not lie. oh my god i am in just shock. it takes a lot of put your self out there for everyone to see. i am down to 175lbs from 240lbs in a little over three months. crazy. i never thought i would be this size again ever in my life. the energy level is amazing. some days are a little slower then others and i can tell when i have not had enough to eat or drink. Anyone know a good plastic surgeon in the richmond area? Liz

Liz, I know how you feel.. when I first say my old posting pic.. with my face pre-op next to post-op I was like WHOA... I must say.. seeing myself and the changes I've gone thru in pictures is an amazing thing... I just updated my profile with pics from b4 and current and it's been eye-opening, it wasn't easy pushing myself to do that... as I've always been a private person with my unclothed (for the most part) body.. Your body is not gross sweetie... I know it'll take time to love yourself for what you are... it's taken me my entire life... and there are still times when I go EWW.. but I remember that God loves me.. and I love me... and that anyone else's opinion of what or who I am just doesn't matter. You have to believe that. *hugs you tight* I know you're probably like Who the F is this telling me all this... I'm just somoene who has gone thru what your feeling... You're doin really well in your weight loss! There are a # of PS options in Richmond.. I've not researched them yet as I've still got about 75 lbs to go before I'm elg for it... but I know Frisky Kitty has looked into it... drop her an email... she'd be happy to help! Also contact your surgeon's office... they are bound to have associates they work with... I'm proud of you for posting your pictures.... if you get a chance take a look at my profile... *hugs* -Ross

Hi, nice to meet you. Wow you look great! really a difference. I have started looking into plastic surgery for next winter. probably after xmas or so. if i have to i might travel up to northern va where i am from and find a good doc up there. i will see when i go in for consults and also look them up. thanks for the encouragment. Liz you are doing great!! And look great too! I know how you feel - I think we all do - I have lost almost 70lbs but still look at smaller sized clothes and think they will never fit me! And sometimes they do - easily! I kept a before picture of myself and thought I looked pretty good - now I look at it in horror - how easily it is to fool yourself into thinking you do not look "that bad". But we should all be proud of ourselves because we did something about our weight troubles. My surgeon says that less than 3% of the overweight population will ever have gastric bypass surgery because it takes a great deal of courage to go though the life changes that have to be made to go with it. So I think we all should give ourselves a round of applause for facing up to what we really did look and feel like, for doing something about it and for the plastic surgeries some of us will have to endure in the future! clap: I don't know a good Plastc Surgeon in the Richmond area but there are sure to be some. Liz- You look wonderful. I know charlottesville is about an hour from Richmond. I just had my tt completed by Dr. Drake. I just had it done a week ago, but to be honest, I nearly cried when they took all the bandages off yesterday. I will be posting pictures soon Good luck and keep up the good work! Stacey
