NoVa support group?

I just moved to the Arlington area and wanted to know if there are any regular support groups that meet in the area. Thanks!

Hi MM, I run an informal Support group that everyone loves to attend. We meet the 3rd Saturday of the month in Fairfax. We also have a yahoogroup that you can join for 24/7 support. We also list other support groups and meeting dates in the area. If you would like to join please send me an email to [email protected] and I can send you an invite into the group. FYI there is a support group tonight called Journey Together at 3700 Joseph Siewick Drive in the Auditorium. It is at 6:30 p.m. This is located in the building next to Fair Oak Hospital in Fairfax. There is another one called The Staple Club sponsored by Sr Anez's office (all are welcome) held the first monday each month at the same location and same time. Next meeting is Aug 14 2006 Staple Club Schedule The Staple Club (Fairfax) meets on the 1st Monday of the month, from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm, 3700 Joseph Siewick Drive, in the auditorium. Meeting Dates January 2 February 6 March 6 April 10 May 1 June 5 July 10 August 14 September 11 October 2 November 6 December 11 This meeting has an open format. Patients' questions and concerns are welcome. Other patients are there to share their experiences. Meetings are open to friends and family. We will also have guest speakers from time to time like plastic surgeons, psychologists, etc. Also, there is a clothing exchange at all meetings!
